Professional Certificate in Design for 3D Printing

MakeAmaze is proud to have been a partner in the ERASMUS+ project ShakeAM:

ShakeAM Project — short for “Learning by Sharing Knowledge in Design for Additive Manufacturing (AM)” — is an innovative educational initiative. It’s designed to provide institutions (e.g., universities) top-notch digital skills training in Design for Additive Manufacturing (DfAM), preparing students and professionals for a rapidly evolving digital world.

ShakeAM is all about building a new way to teach DfAM—using digital tools to transform how students and professionals learn design techniques for 3D printing and other advanced manufacturing methods. We’re developing a unique virtual learning environment that combines hands-on practice, theoretical learning, and access to a collaborative Sphere filled with real-life DfAM examples.

Key Features of ShakeAM

1. ShakeAM Sphere
Our Sphere is designed for interactive, engaging learning. Students can access:

2. Seamless Knowledge Transfer
ShakeAM aligns with EU qualifications and IAMQS standards to ensure students’ skills are recognized across Europe. This approach supports consistent, high-quality training in DfAM, fostering innovation and opening career opportunities.

3. Support for Educators

Teachers and education professionals will also benefit from ShakeAM, with tools and training on digital pedagogy and the latest DfAM best practices. Educators will be able to bring advanced DfAM skills into their classrooms, preparing students for the modern workforce.

As digital technologies reshape industries, ShakeAM Training Methodology equips both students and educators with vital skills in DfAM. This project strengthens higher education’s role in digital transformation, enabling students to transition smoothly into the professional world and contribute to ongoing innovation. By completing the training you will be able to receive a certificate of completion. We are working with IAMQS to add the option of a Certificate of Competence.
